Is there a minimum Nel relationship level required to trigger the Meditation event at the Hot Springs? I was able to get it in my normal run, but not my minimal encounters run.
Any word on how I get that important book? Fortune teller said elven bedroom but I have no idea how to actually look for it.
You'll need to be an Elf in order to find the bedroom.
I am unable to talk to the barkeeper after the update. I got the tutorial when i first went there and hit talk to barkeeper to add objective marker and now i cant talk to him.
It is a known bug. Got to your settings and enable the option "SHOW MAP HINTS"
how do you update while keeping your save?
For Windows, you extract the game in an empty directory and you should be able to load the game.
For Android, you update the game by installing over it.

Tailor shop is unlocked once you master at least 4 skills. He will appear at the central plaza.
i did not understand half of it, what is skill mastery?
Most accessories have skills. If you equip those accessories, the skills will get SP when you win battles. Once the skill SP meter fills completely, it becomes mastered.

You will find new ally character in the hot springs. Stuff is mostly just following storyline.
Cool hey can the author add a new scene later in the game where a Futa Clown Doll drags Celica under Her bed and fuck Her I would love to see a sex scene like that.
In theory yes. Will they is a completely different question. They author has a vision for the game and I honestly have no idea if that concept even fits into what they are going for.

The biggest QoL is the skip option when Nel is in control.
